As is known to all that iOS devices have speedy performance compare to their Android rivals. However there are a few things you can do to further enhance that smooth experience.
Before you embrace this even smoother experience, you have to jailbreak your device and possibly void warranty. So be cautious if you decide to follow these tricks. To avoid that disgusting white apple, iOS 8 device owners should restore their backup before jailbreaking.
1. Clean your handset
Yes, you should do it, especially if you have limited 16G iPhone. A 1GB storage might seem unimportant for 64G or 128G devices, it means a lot for 16G devices.
2. Toggle off apps auto-starting
iOS devices are never well known for multi-task operations. However Apple is starting to allow more apps run in the background. Giving the limited 1GB of RAM, toggle off those auto-start apps sounds necessary. Here are some apps that you can disable according to your needs and should not have any impact on your daily usage.
AirPrintAssistiveTouchGame CenteriCloud (do not disable it if you need find my iPhoe or backup pics etc)Internet sharing (internet tethering)iTunes and iCloud backup (do not disable if you need find my iPhoe or backup pics)OTA updatePassBookSafeSpotlightVPNWipe (remote wipe needs it)Simulating crash reporting (system log, disable it to get more battery juice)Siri

If you install any apps depend on RocketBootstarap, you get follow error message next time you reboot the phoe. If it happens, toggle on com.apple.ReportCrash.SimulateCrash alone could solve the problem.
If you just finish flashing your handset, do not turn off iTunes iCloud backup, otherwise the photos app will close. If you still want to turn it off, open photos and close it when it prompts new photo stream available. Then toggle it off.
3. Delete those languages you do not use.
4. Delete those wallpapers you do not need and save space (all bigger than 16M). In the meantime, delete those live wallpapers under folder /System/Library/ProceduralWallpaper/ProceduralWallpapers.bundle except below files. Otherwise you won’t be able to pick new wallpapers.
If you follow above tips, you should be able to see a noticeable improvement. Somebody say they see quicker responsive on their iPhone.
